Why You Can Talk to Momma
Welcome, love.
I’m known online as Momma Love, and I’m not here to analyze you from a distance or hand you a one-size-fits-all answer.
I’m here to sit with you — human to human — in a space that feels steady, gentle, and real.
I’m a highly sensitive, deeply empathetic person. I naturally notice the subtle things — the tone behind your words, the emotions underneath the story, and the parts you’re not sure how to say yet.
That sensitivity isn’t something I try to “fix.” It’s one of the reasons people feel safe opening up with me.
I know what it’s like to carry a lot. I’ve been raising kids since I was a teenager, and I learned early how to survive, how to show up, and how to keep going even when I was exhausted.
I’m also the mom of a transgender child, which has deepened my understanding of identity, acceptance, and how important it is to feel safe being exactly who you are.
For most of my life, I lived with anxious attachment and spent nearly 30 years in relationships with avoidant partners.
I know the ache of loving someone who can’t fully meet you. I know what it’s like to over-give, over-function, and slowly lose yourself trying to make a relationship work.
I’ve been married twice, and both relationships involved substance abuse and mental health struggles.
I understand the confusion, the hope, the heartbreak, and the emotional exhaustion that come from loving someone who is battling their own demons.
I also know the strength it takes to finally choose yourself and begin healing those patterns.
Alongside that, I spent 25 years working in the legal field, supporting people through some of the hardest and most stressful chapters of their lives.
That work taught me how to stay grounded in crisis, how to listen carefully, and how to hold space for big emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them.
I’ve lived through depression, anxiety, panic attacks, chronic fatigue, and the long-term effects of a traumatic brain injury.
I understand what it’s like when your mind won’t slow down, your body won’t keep up, and everyday tasks suddenly feel overwhelming.
I know how lonely it can feel when you look fine on the outside but are struggling deeply on the inside.
I’ve also walked through a spiritual awakening that changed everything and asked me to rebuild my life from the inside out.
Healing hasn’t been a straight line for me — it’s been layered, humbling, and deeply human.
Alongside lived experience, I’ve spent years studying how healing actually works.
I’m a Certified Spiritual Life Coach, trained in trauma-informed coaching, certified in attachment theory, and a Reiki practitioner.
But more than any title, what I offer is presence.
- A place to say the thing you’ve been holding in.
- A steady nervous system to borrow when yours feels overwhelmed.
- A soft landing where you don’t have to perform, explain, or be “okay.”
People come to me when they’re tired of pretending.
When they don’t want fixing — they want to be understood.
When they need space to breathe and be met with compassion while they find their way back to themselves.
You don’t have to impress me.
You don’t have to be positive.
You don’t have to have the right words.
Come home. You’re safe here.
